There are three roles I can take on for you. I can be your designer, creating effective interactive designs for your team to build. I can be your programmer, executing your designs. Or I can provide project management—coordinating the work, communicating with your clients and your other freelancers, organizing your content, and managing deadlines.
Often my customers need me to handle all three, and if you need a complete Web site, training simulation, or museum kiosk, I can deliver the entire project for you. But the best results come from creative collaboration, and I enjoy learning to fit into your workflow, whether in person or across the Internet. Although I operate a one-person company with low overhead that allows me to control costs for my customers, I do offer a larger team when needed, bringing in talented people with the specific skills that a project may call for.
I apply the following strategies to keep each project moving efficiently at minimum cost.
I adapt flexibly to your needs and your workflow. I make a point of learning what helps you, and what doesn't.
I plan from the beginning for future flexibility and expansion, so when a Web site or trade show display needs to evolve, the cost is minimized.
I use technology wisely to streamline and automate production, as well as to insure the best possible performance for the end user.
I look ahead to catch problems before they develop, and will raise an early warning for anything from typos in the text to technical issues that might snowball later on. I attend carefully to the details so you don't have to.
Below are selected marketing and education projects for which I provided both the graphic design and the programming. The box on the left explains some of my featured services such as custom games. I also have a portfolio of logo designs, and an overview of my design philosophy.
Please call or email me at any time to discuss your needs or see more of my work.

This is the first version of an interactive application for designing custom bookbindings and albums. It is designed to be delivered from a remote ASP server to thin client kiosks in retail settings, but can be used on a personal computer as well. Note the live pricing information at the bottom that updates every time you make a change to your book. Cover graphics may be dragged to any position. Created for Cornerstone Systems.
ArcAngel Web Game (Shockwave required.) A 3D action game promoting a basketball coaching aid. I designed and programmed the game to fit within a site by Digital Navigation.
PopArt Web Game (Shockwave required.) A game used during a successful product rollout, and created to look like the product itself, as designed by Stein & Company. Click and hold to pop the bubbles. The game is far more complex than it first appears.
